What Makes the First Conversation Useful.
You do not need to prepare anything. But if you already know the answers to these, the first call goes much further:
- Roughly how many enquiries you get in a month, and where they come from
- What happens to an enquiry in the first hour after it arrives
- Which project types you want more of — and which you would rather have fewer of
- The cities or areas you can realistically deliver to
- Whether you are currently spending on advertising, and roughly how much
If you do not know some of those, that is itself useful information — for most businesses we audit, "we are not sure" is the honest answer to at least two of them.
